The Glenview Junior Golf Academy

GPGC Youth Golf Experience

The Glenview Park Golf Club and Glenview Prairie Club have teamed up to bring you the Glenview Junior Academy. The Glenview Junior Academy is a unique, fun, and exciting program designed to provide professional instruction as well as promote growth and development for every junior golfer through each stage of their development.

The Glenview Junior Academy is a six-level progressive program focusing on one specific area of the game at a time. At each level, or “hole”, juniors attend four 50 minute group lessons per month based on our flexible academy schedule. Classes will be filled with fun learning activities, golf fitness games and contests. Everyone will start at level 1; at the end of every month each junior will be evaluated on whether or not they are ready to progress to the next level. This allows all junior golfers to learn the game of golf comfortably at his/her own pace.

Max/Min: 8/4 per class
Fee: $99/month for both residents and nonresidents

Summer Swing Golf Camp

Our goal is to provide campers with a memorable experience and leave camp at the end of the week with improved skills and a greater understanding and passion for the game of golf.

Half Day Camp (ages 9-14)

Spend the morning on the range participating in fun learning activities, games, and contests designed to develop proper fundamentals for the full-swing, chipping, putting, pitching, and sand shots.  On Friday campers put their skills to the test with a 9-hole match at the Glenview Prairie Club.  Camp concludes on Friday with a pizza party and awards ceremony.

Full day camp makes the transition from the range to the course easy! Campers follow the schedule for the Half Day Summer Swing Golf Camp in the morning. After lunch, travel to the Glenview Prairie Club to take your newly acquired skills to the first tee for a 9-hole playing lesson.  On Friday, camp is held at the Glenview Prairie Club for the entire day and camper will have a chance to play a full 18-hole round — 9 holes in the morning with a lunchtime pizza party and awards ceremony, followed by 9-holes in the afternoon.
