Glenview Park Golf ClubCourse RulesAll play is governed by USGA rules.1. Out of Bounds: Inner edge of utility poles, white stakes, boundary fences, on drive or in parking lot. Penalty – hit provisional ball, loss of stroke and distance. 2. Lost Ball: Penalty – loss of stroke and distance. 3. Obstructions: Penalty – none. 4. Lateral water hazard on # 7, 9, 10 & 18. Drop ball two club lengths at point where ball last crossed margin of hazard. Penalty – one stroke. 5. Normal water hazard on #8, 11 & 12. 6. Players completing 9th hole who use clubhouse facilities have privilege of 10th tee at next opening. Check with starter. 7. Electric cars, pull carts and bags may not be brought onto greens or tees. Cars and carts must stay outside white painted lines surrounding greens. 8. Please follow all ranger’s instructions. 9. Violation of rules of etiquette or abuse of course shall be cause for denial of use of course. 10. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the golf course unless they were purchased from the Cafe in the clubhouse or from the Glenview Park Golf Club beverage car on the golf course. Please Respect the Course and Fellow Golfers- Repair all ball marks on greens.- Rake sand bunkers. - Replace divots. - Proper golf attire must be worn at all times. Shirts must be worn at all times - Please no tank tops, halter tops, swimwear or cut offs Shorts must be 14" in length measured from the waistband to the bottom of the material Metal Spiked Golf Shoes or Athletic spiked shoes (football, baseball, soccer) are not permitted - Players hitting from wrong fairway must yield to players on correct hole. - Each player must have his/her own golf clubs and bag. - Metal or metal-type golf spikes are not allowed on the golf course. Pace of PlayA KEEP PACE program designed to allow golfers to complete a round in a reasonable length of time (4 hours and 15 minutes) is in effect at the Glenview Park Golf Club. Players teeing off the first hole at an established time interval of 7 or 8 minutes behind the group they follow who fall more than 11 minutes behind that group must, upon instruction from the ranger, pick up their golf balls and move to the spot on the golf course that puts them back into position. Upon a second notification from the course ranger, the group may be asked to leave the golf course without refund. |
